Hi, I'm a newb, apologies ahead of time. I had an NA Z31 if that counts?
Anyway, I'm pickin up a 90 TT and need to do immediate work and need advice.
3 main problems with this one:
- Injector connectors
- Power steering pump
- Catback exhaust (disintegrated before nonexistent mufflers) I'm going to replace the connectors, no big as I've done plenty of electronics work. The steering pump, I'm not sure how heavy this has to get, I've found some stuff for ~$150? The Catback, like I said is a must. Rusty pipe-ends stick out after mid-mufflers.
I'm in CA and KNOW emissions could fail and want to just do the cats and cat-back together.
(Get it outta the way right?)
I've found some SS cat-backs for ~$200, and can't justify $6-$900 just for that. (Other work to be done right?) The cats are a concern though. I need emissions assurance more than track performance. (everday driver, 10 miles only)
Can I get some recommendations? Like I said,.. I'm sorry to ask, I just don't think it's smart to not ask for help first. :-)
